The fashion photographer Perou covers points of view of homelessness

Homelessness among young people is the center of attention in the exhibition of celebrity photographer Perou.

The British photographer who has worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake and Eminem, spent a week with the people of Liverpool and Manchester.

The Think Big O2 online exhibition is part of a national project on homeless youth in the United Kingdom.

Perou says he wants people to stop ignoring the problem.

"It's about creating an impact and cause a reaction," he said.

"One of the issues that all young people we work with keep mentioning was the feeling that they had become invisible to society, did not matter much to the point where I felt that people will not even acknowledge its existence.

"That is an issue that I wanted the exposure face to face."
"Stereotypes convenient"

The display is part of the homeless and the campaign for the Arts, founded by James McNaughton, who had no home of their own.

"Having been homeless I know from experience how difficult it is to change your life," he said.

"One of the biggest obstacles to young people making the transition is a lack of confidence and sense of self.

"It is therefore important that as a society, not to succumb to the stereotypes fit, but the treatment of homeless youth with respect and dignity."

"The exhibition gives voice to young homeless people behind the pictures and I hope people stop and think."
